I attended the “Harvard of the Midwest”, Kansas University, graduating with a degree in Journalism. I worked for ten years in radio before making the career change to real estate. As you may know, most realtors do not aspire to be so when they are young, but what a great career it has turned out to be.
I grew up in Colby, a small town in western Kansas, the seventh of eight children. I learned to negotiate at an early age in order to get seconds at the dinner table, as there were rarely any leftovers to go around.
My experience as managing broker for 75 real estate agents in Evergreen and Conifer, Colorado has made me a more effective real estate professional in two major areas. First, I have significantly increased my knowledge of the Colorado Real Estate Commission’s contract to Buy and Sell Real Estate. Secondly, the experience of dealing with the variety of issues that have come up in the hundreds of transactions in the two offices has made me better prepared to resolve the challenges that may come up during a real estate transaction. I would like to put my experience, negotiating skills and knowledge of the Colorado real estate contract to work for you!
Years of selling real estate in the mountains outside metro Denver has given me the privilege of working with hundreds of families. I have shared some of their comments regarding their experience working with me on the testimonial page. I strongly believe in providing customer satisfaction through consistent, timely and accurate communication during and even after your real estate transaction. I will let others give you insight into what they found compelling about working with me in their own words. Please check out the comments on the testimonials page. Also, you can review the details of our “Hassle Free Listing with the Easy Exit Clause” by clicking on the tab on this Website identifying it.
In addition, I served for three years as the Treasurer for the Mountain Metro Association of Realtors, formerly known as the Evergreen-Conifer Association of Realtors. I also contribute money from each home I sell to the Children’s Miracle Network a charity that helps pay the medical expenses for families of children who are ill.
I live in Conifer with my wife and our three children. I make a “living”. They make life worth living. I enjoy hiking and biking, as well as playing catch and “shooting hoops” with my boys. They have also inspired me to take up fishing. Recently I have rediscovered an interest in woodworking, a hobby I enjoyed in high school. Finally, I have a passion for watching Broncos football during the pro football season.
